Born and raised in Los Angeles, but deeply rooted and based in San Francisco. I'm from that generation that grew up making mixtapes and took pictures with disposable cameras.
In 2013 I graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasizing in photography. Although the majority of my work is digital, I could easily spend all day printing & developing in a darkroom. Check out my film prints and other art here at www.lucidaobscura.com.
Before, during, and after college I worked as a server in restaraunts throughout Napa Valley and SF. This was where I learned about balanced cocktails, genuine hospitality, and the beauty of fresh ingredients. A decade of food and beverage knowledge nudged me into being able to photograph these items regularly. All the while my borderline obsessive love of music has kept me on the path of being a concert photographer.
I spend the majority of my extra time collecting vinyl records, watching zombie movies, and wandering around other countries with my husband.
